Brownson Design Group is a full service Interior Design Firm working in both Residential and Commercial arenas.

Our Mission is to add excitement, beauty and functionality to the world through good design. We believe that good design simply means caring for our clients’ needs, environmental needs and coming up with the best possible solutions to design ‘problems’ (and having fun in the process).

about the principal

I have been formally involved in the design world since 2000 but I like to think that it started long before; as a child, when I spent more time decorating Barbie’s mansion than I actually did playing with dolls. But I digress... I have a Bachelors of Science in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Orange County where I graduated with honors. Our curriculum was heavily focused on environmental issues in design and as a result I have a passion for creating spaces that are non-toxic and safe for its inhabitants as well as respectful of our earth’s precious resources. I have never thought of green design as boring or uninventive and it is always my goal to show that the most innovative and unique products are, in fact, green.

I have experienced many facets of the design industry from fashion to corporate retail merchandising to television and theatre set design. In the end I have found that Interior Design encompasses all that I love about design and has given me an opportunity that I look forward to each day.
